3 teams who finished in our top 20 in the 12u age group traveled to Virginia for the Perfect Game Super 25 Qualifier this past weekend. The Charlotte USSSA saw multiple games between top 5 and 20 teams, including a contest between teams from the same organization who finished last year as the #1 team in the 1ou age group and #2 team in the 11u age group, as well as a finals match up between teams who finished 2nd and 3rd in our 11u age group last year. At the Charlotte USSSA site, the Carolina Reds (SC) went 2-0 on Saturday with a 5-3 win over the SBA Futures and a 20-5 win over the Asheville A's. SBA scored a 22-0 win over Dirtbags LKN in their other pool play game. On Sunday, the Reds defeated the Asheville A's 22-5 and Dirtbags LKN 14-7 to finish 4-0 for the weekend.
At the Clemmons NCGameOn site, the DC rode a strong defense to a 4-0 record for the weekend and the 8u title. Across 4 games the Vipers gave up a total of 7 runs, and outscored their opponents a combined 44-7 for the weekend.

At the Charlotte USSSA site, the SBA Futures, who finished 4th in our final 2018-2019 rankings in this age group, went 2-0 with an 11-1 win over the MARA Cobras and an 11-10 win over Dirtbags LKN. Dirtbags LKN topped the SBA Nationals 16-5 in their other pool play game. On Sunday, Dirtbags LKN edged the Nationals 8-7 and the SBA Futures scored an 11-7 win over the MARA Cobras to reach the finals. In the finals, the Futures finished off a 4-0 weekend with a 10-6 win over Dirtbags LKN. At the Morganton USSSA site, separate round robin events were played on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the AC Outlaws finished 2-0 with wins over the Asheville Cubs and Mountain Xplosion. On Sunday, Mountain Xplosion went 2-0 with wins over the Asheville Cubs and the Venom Stars. At the Greensboro USSSA site, SML Sandlot bounced back from a 1-1 Saturday to go 2-0 on Sunday with wins over GRIT in the semifinals and the Pfafftown Raiders 2029 in the finals.
At the Clemmons NCGameOn site, last year's #7 team Spartans - Mullins went 1-1 on Saturday and received the #5 seed for Sunday. 5 Star Heat - Nichols was the lone undefeated team in pool play and received the #1 seed for bracket play, while the Carolina Hitmen received the #2 seed after going 1-1 on Saturday, including a 3-1 loss against the 5 Star Heat. In the semifinals on Sunday, the top two seed held true to form with the Hitmen edging the Carolina Rockies Purple 10-9 and the 5 Star Heat sneaking by Spartans - Mullins 7-6. In the finals, the Hitmen bounced back from their close loss on Saturday to take a 6-5 win over 5 Star Heat - Nichols. In Oxford, Eno River finished as the lone undefeated team, going 4-0 with a 10-8 win over Diamond Life and a 16-6 win over the East Coast Clippers 2029 on Saturday, and a 14-13 win over the Sleepers and a 16-15 win over Spartans - Long on Sunday.

At the Charlotte USSSA site, last year's #9 team the Triple Crown Lookouts was dominant, going 4-0 for the weekend and outscoring opponents a combined 51-9 and notched a 14-3 win over last year's #5 team, the HPT HiToms, in the finals. For the year, the Lookouts moved to 16-0 with their performance this weekend. The HiToms finished 3-1 for the weekend including a 15-6 win over last year's #8 team, East Rowan, in pool play. East Rowan finished 3-1 for the weekend. At the Morganton USSSA site, last year's #15 team, the Kings Mountain Storm went 2-0 on Saturday with a 12-3 win over Five Star Heat/AC and a 7-2 win over last year's #18 WNC Linedrive. The Roberson RAMblers bounced back from a 1-1 Saturday to go 3-0 on Sunday, including wins over the RC Mudslingers, the Kings Mountain Storm, and Equip in the finals, to take home the 10u Gold bracket title. At the Wilmington USSSA site, it was the Wilmington Whitecaps who came away with the title. They bounced back from a 1-1 Saturday to go 2-0 on Sunday with an 11-3 win over the Wilmington Wolfpack and an 11-6 win over Rock Solid Red in the finals.
At the Clemmons NCGameOn site, Carolina Rockies - Sullivan finished as the lone undefeated team, going 4-0 for the weekend. On Saturday, they defeated Triad Cardinals Baseball 14-3 and Luckies Freedom 19-7. On Sunday, the Rockies scored an 11-3 win over Dry Pond and a 10-8 win over Carolina Impact. In Oxford, East Coast Clippers 2028 finished 4-0 for the weekend, scoring wins over the North Wake Rebels, Virginia Squires (x2), and the Granville Rays during the weekend.

In the one-day even at the Charlotte USSSA site, On Deck O's Black went 2-1 including wins over WCWAA and the Carolina Hustle. In the two-day event, last year's #11 team finished 4-0 for the weekend and took home the 11u title, notching wins over the NC Stars and SBA - Datta in pool play and the NC Stars and last year's #15 team, the Summerfield Stars, in the finals. The Stars finished 3-1 overall for the weekend. At the Morganton USSSA site, Athlete's Lab had another impressive weekend, going for the weekend with wins over the SBA LKN Mustangs and the McDowell Titans on Saturday, and the Venom Stars, NC Saints 2027 - Queler, and Full Throttle on Sunday.
At the Oxford NCGameOn site, last year's #12 team the NCDB Rivercats finished 4-0 for the weekend with wins over the HYAA Hawks and the Riptide on Saturday, and wins over the HYAA Hawks and Diamond Life Athletics on Sunday.

The 12u age group at the Charlotte USSSA site was absolutely loaded and included last year's #2 team, the SBA Futures, #3 Dirtbags Black, and the #16 Athlete's Advantage Yard Goats as well as the top two teams from last year's 10u age group - #1 SBA Futures and #2 SBA Nationals - playing up this weekend. In pool play, Dirtbags Black went 2-0 with a 16-1 win over SBA LKN and a 5-1 win over MPC. The 12u SBA Futures finished 1-1 on Saturday with a 9-0 win over the Yard Goats and a 6-2 loss against MPC. The 11u Futures finished 2-0 in their pool play games with wins over the Tega Cay Titans and the Carolina Reds. The 11u SBA Nationals also finished 2-0 in pool play with a 13-1 win over the Tega Cay Titans and an 11-4 win over the MARA Cobras. In the play-in games on Sunday, the Yard Goats scored a 7-5 win over the MARA Cobras and the 12u SBA Futures blanked SBA LKN 5-0 to set up a match up against the 11u Futures. In the semifinals, Dirtbags Black squeezed past the Yard Goats with a 2-0 win, while the 12u SBA Futures got past their 11u counterparts with a 5-1 win. In the finals, Dirtbags Black scored their second win over the SBA Futures this fall season with a 10-7 win. At the Morganton USSSA site, WCW Baseball took home the title, going 4-0 with wins over RBA Heels White, AASA - Connelly, Clubhose Baseball Academy Patriots, and last year's #19 team Athlete's Lab 2025/2026 in the finals. Athlete's Lab finished 3-1 for the weekend. At the Wilmington USSSA site, last year's #7 team in the 10u age group played up in the 12u age group and went 2-0 on Saturday with wins over the Ogden Hurricanes and the Wilmington Seahawks. On Sunday, however, the Wilmington Seahawks bounced back from an 0-2 Saturday to score a 6-4 win over the Wilmington Wahoo in the semifinals and a 10-9 win over the Coastal Cyclones in the finals.
At the Clemmons NCGameOn site, GBC Prospects - Breedlove earned the top seed with a 3-2 win over Carolina Rockies White and a 14-1 win over Sliders Baseball. Rockies White scored a 14-1 win over AC Sluggers in their other pool play game. In the semifinals on Sunday, Rockies White notched a 9-6 win over Ltown Lightning and the GBC Prospects defeated Rock Solid Kernersville 11-7. In the finals, Rockies White got some revenge from their loss in pool play with an 11-3 win over the GBC Prospects.

3 teams from North Carolina - last year's final #4 Canes Baseball NC - Simpson, #5 Canes Baseball Eastern NC, and #9 Team Elite American - made their way to Ruther Glen, Virginia to compete in the Perfect Game Super 25 Qualifier this past weekend. Canes Eastern NC went 2-0 in pool play with wins over the NoVA Vipers and the Titans, which earned them them the #2 seed in bracket play. Team Elite American was able to get the 8th and final spot in bracket play, going 1-1 in pool play with an 8-0 loss against Canes VA/757 - Soup and a 7-6 win over Tidewater Rock Solid Drillers. Canes Baseball NC - Simpson also finished 1-1 in pool play with a 12-1 win over Stars Baseball - Justice and a 10-6 loss to MPH101, but missed a spot in the bracket for Sunday. They did defeat the Mid-Atlantic Red Sox - Carroll in their consolation game on Sunday. In bracket play, 8th seeded Team Elite American defeated #1 seed Canes - Soup 11-3 to reach the semifinals. #2 seed Canes Eastern NC defeated #7 seed NoVA Vieprs 11-2 in their quarterfinal match up. In the semifinals, Virginia Venom DS National rolled to a 10-2 win over Team Elite American while Canes Eastern NC defeated Richmond Braves North - Gregory 12-2. In a great finals match up, Canes Eastern NC fell behind 5-0 in the first inning, but battled back to have a 6-5 lead heading into the final inning. Virginia Venom DS National were able to push across two in the top half of the 7th inning and held on for a 7-6 win in the finals.
At the Charlotte USSSA site, last year's final #18 team, the Carolina Astros, went 1-1 on Saturday with a win over the SBA Senators and a loss against Vision Bandits White. The Bandits scored a 6-3 win over the Weddington Warriors in their other pool play game on Saturday. Five Star Carolina Champions also went 1-1 on Saturday with a 7-3 win over the SC Braves and a 6-5 loss against the Charlotte Colts. Five Star Champions, the Weddington Warriors, and the SC Braves were all victorious in the quarterfinals. In the finals, Five Star Champions notched a 12-2 win over Vision Bandits White, while the SC Braves scored a 7-2 win over the Weddington Warriors. In the finals, Five Star Carolina Champions took home the title with a 17-9 win over the SC Braves. At the Morganton USSSA site, the Tennessee Scrappers came away with the 13u title, going 1-1 in pool play and 2-0 on Sunday with a 6-2 win over WCW Red in the finals. At the Greensboro USSSA site, last year's #5 team in the 11u age group, GRIT - Culler played up in the 13u age group and took home the title. They finished 4-1 for weekend, including wins over the Carolina Rockies Black, GRIT, and the VA Squires on Sunday.
