NC GameOn Recap 3/23-3/24/19

There were numerous ranked teams in action across the NC GameOn sites this weekend, including 8u #1 East Rowan who had a showdown matchup with 8u #3 Davidson Crush on Sunday. In total, 9 teams ranked in our statewide top 20 and two other regionally ranked teams were in the fields this weekend. Here we provide some of the highlights from a great weekend of baseball. 

Top Gun Triangle Recap 3/23-3/24/19

10 ranked teams were in the fields across three age groups this weekend at the Top Gun sites around the Triangle. We saw several top 20 and top 10 matchups and 13u #2 Canes Baseball Eastern NC proved they will again be a force to be reckoned with in the 13u age group this year. Here’s a brief rundown of the past weekend’s Top Gun games in the Triangle area. 

Top Gun Shipyard Recap 3/23-3/24/19

A number of ranked teams made the trip to Charleston, South Carolina this past weekend to battle it out at Shipyard Park. Highlighting the weekend, was a match up of NC 11u #2 SBA Futures and SC #3 Charleston Revolution. Take a look at our recap of the weekend’s games.

USSSA Charlotte Recap 3/23-3/24/19

10 top 20 teams were in the various fields at the Charlotte and Greensboro USSSA sites this past weekend, including 9u #1 SBA Futures and 10u #2 SBA Nationals both playing up in Charlotte. We saw several great match ups as well as some early season upsets. Here’s a rundown of the weekend’s USSSA games from Charlotte and Greensboro.

USSSA Atlanta Spring Super NIT Recap March 2019

Youth baseball events don’t get much bigger than the USSSA Atlanta Spring Super NIT that took place this past weekend. 446 teams across 9 age groups, and from 10 different states made their way to Atlanta this past weekend to test themselves against perhaps the best collection of talent thus far in the Spring 2019 season. 6 teams from North Carolina and 1 from South Carolina made the trip down to Atlanta with 2 (10u SBA Futures and Dirtbags Legends) reaching the finals of the Majors division in their respective age groups. Here we highlight some of the great performances from this past weekend in Atlanta.

Top Gun Recap Triangle Region 3/16-3/17/19

Over a half-dozen ranked teams were in action this weekend across the Top Gun sites in Goldsboro/Snow Hill and Holly Springs this weekend. USSSA Charlotte Recap 3/16-3/17/19

Several ranked teams were in action at the USSSA games in Charlotte this weekend. The 11u age group featured a huge finals match up between #1 SBA Futures and #5 Dirtbags Black that went right down to the wire. Here’s a brief recap of the USSSA games from Charlotte this past weekend.

Top Gun Charlotte/Concord Recap 3/16-3/17/19

There were a lot of ranked teams in action in the Charlotte region at the Top Gun sites this weekend. We saw the top 9u team in South Carolina (Team 24 Gamecocks – Clayton) go head-to-head with the #3 team in North Carolina (LBC Vipers) in a great finals match up. The 11u age group featured the return of one our top 20 10u teams from a year ago, the Belmont Bandits, making their debut in the 11u age group, while the 12u age group had 4 teams in our top 20 in action. USSSA Atlanta Spring Super NIT Preview March 2019

447 teams across 9 age groups (6u-14u) are signed up to play in Atlanta this upcoming weekend in what may be the biggest event of the spring in the southeastern United States. In total, 6 teams from North Carolina and 1 from South Carolina will make the trip down to Atlanta this weekend to test themselves against some of the best competition from 10 different states. Here we provide a brief, regionally-focused preview, as well as highlight some of the top teams in Atlanta this weekend. Ridiculously, we went ahead and tried to predict champions as well.
