USSSA did not post the results of their umpire training/scrimmage games this past weekend. As such, we have done our best to try and summarize the results as best we could. Notably, these are focused on high ranked teams, and/or those with accessible Gamechanger pages on which the game was scored. Travel baseball is really starting to ramp up around the state. Top Gun had some of the top teams in the state in action across its multiple sites this weekend. Here we recap the weekend’s top action.
60 teams will be in play this weekend for USSSA as their spring tournament schedule starts to really ramp up this weekend. Some of the best teams in the state, particularly from the Charlotte area will be in action this weekend. For a February tournament of “scrimmages”, there are some absolutely loaded fields. Another weekend of umpire training events are in store for Top Gun. There looks to be a few more sites going and a few more teams involved, so it appears teams are getting geared up quickly for the spring season. Check out our preview of some of the top teams in action this weekend.
And we’re off! The Spring season started this past weekend with umpire training events for Top Gun. We got to see some good match-ups and competitive games across multiple age groups. Some of the best teams in North Carolina were in action, and several teams tried their hands at new experiences (playing up and age group). Check out our recap of the weekend’s Top Gun action.
Baseball is finally back. Top Gun gets us started with an umpire training event on both Saturday and Sunday. Although its still very early in the spring baseball season, numerous of our top 20 teams are scattered across the different age groups in Goldsboro. In addition, it should be noted that 11u #1 SBA Canes – Ross will be in action this weekend in the new USSSA Space Coast complex in the USSSA President’s Day Super NIT.
