Mother Nature again laid waste to baseball plans across the state of North Carolina and the region this past weekend. There were, however, a handful of events and games that were able to be played at various sites. Here we recap some of the weekend's top games.

SC #1 Team 24 Gamecocks - Ashley started their spring season in impressive fashion, going 2-0 on Sunday with a 10-2 win over the LKN Hurricanes and an 11-0 win over the Carolina Reapers. Union County Crush - Walker also went 2-0 on Sunday, notching two shutouts with a 16-0 win over the Gastonia Raptors and a 10-0 win over the Carolina Sundevils.

It appears only 3 games were played in the 11u age group this weekend. The DSB Carolina Bullfrogs went 2-0, scoring a 4-3 win over NC #17 LKN Hurricanes and a 7-1 win over Spartans - Triplett. The Hurricanes notched a 2-1 win over the Spartans in their other game on Sunday.

NC #12 Vision Bandits went 1-1 in their games on Sunday, falling 4-3 against SBA LKN Canes Red in game 1, before scoring a 9-3 win over Copperheads - Rowland in game 2. The Canes notched an 8-4 win over the Lake Wylie Warriors in their 2nd game on Sunday, to finish 2-0 for the day. The Copperheads tied Five Star DK Heat 4-4 in their other game on Sunday. The Five Star Heat got past Vision Bandits - Williams by the score of 5-3 in their other game on Sunday. In the other two games played on Sunday, the Park Sharon Nationals scored a 7-3 win over the Lake Wylie Warriors, and the LKN Hurricanes rolled to a 10-1 win over Vision Bandits - Williams.

NC #3 Dirtbags Black made the trip down to Georgia this past weekend to start their spring season. They went 4-0 in pool play and finished as the only undefeated team, scoring a 12-7 win over Line Drive - McCallum, an 11-4 win over the Effingham Knights, a 14-5 win over the Georgia Storm, and an 18-5 win over Combat Baseball.

NCABC Fungo - Piscorik rolled to two wins on Saturday, notching a 4-0 win over the Area Stars - Orange, and a 22-1 win over NSA Legion. The FV Wildcats also went 2-0 on Saturday after a 26-0 win over the Holly Springs Atoms and a 7-2 win over the Rocky Mount Marshals 2028. The Carolina Freedom also went 2-0 on Saturday with a 4-0 win over NSA Select and a 10-2 win over the Anson Raptors.

Area Stars - Orange went 2-0 in their first action of the spring, notching a 4-2 win over the Carolina Diamondbacks and a 9-5 win over C35 2027. C35 scored a 9-2 win over the Diamondbacks in their other game on Saturday. The NSA Braves also finished 2-0 on Saturday, scoring a 14-3 win over the Carolina Avengers and a 4-2 win over Triangle Sports Hawks Blue. The Hawks blasted their way to a 13-9 win over the Avengers in their other game on Saturday to finish 1-1 for the day.

Area Stars - Orange went 2-0 on Sunday with a 9-6 win over the Clayton RaildRoaders and a 19-4 win over the Walkoff Warriors. The RailRoaders defeated the Benson Bulls 13-8 and the Walkoff Warriors edged the Benson Bulls 15-12 in their other games on Sunday.
