Virginia produces some of the best baseball teams and programs in the Mid-Atlantic region. A fair number of these teams get to face off with teams from North Carolina, and these teams have proven Virginia baseball is every bit an equal in terms of quality teams. We wanted to try and provide a ranking for Virginia, as we do for North Carolina, in order to offer some guidance for teams in both states looking to find some of the best competition outside their own region.
We're going to do our best to try and develop an up-to-date ranking for each age group, 8u-13u. Please remember these rankings are NOT definitive. The purpose of these rankings are to 1) provide recognition to high-performing teams, 2) to offer some insight into the level of competition you might be facing in an upcoming game or tournament, or 3) to allow parents and coaches some ability to gauge who some of the best teams are around the state in different regions or age groups. These are meant to be purely fun and informative. If you disagree or think we're missing something in our rankings, let us know!
