There are a number of ranked teams across multiple age groups and hailing from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia who will look to start their spring seasons this weekend. Rain may keep that from happening, but here we present a preview of some of the top games around the state this weekend.

NC #3 Dirtbags Black is making the trip down to Effingham, GA this weekend to open their spring season. They'll play 4 pool play games on Saturday with what appears to be a 1 hour or 1:15 time limit, and are set to go up against against Line Drive McCallum - Edge (GA), the Effingham Knights (GA), the Georgia Storm, and Combat Baseball Wheel (GA) on Saturday.
NC #11 Dry Pond will face off against VA #9 LDA Bombers and Union Country Crush - Roadcap in the one-day event in Concord on Saturday. Charlotte Metro Region #3, Carolina Spinners, will see their first action of the spring this weekend and they will also face the LDA Bombers and Crush - Roadcap on Saturday. On Sunday in Concord, the Spinners will take on the 7u LDA Bombers and the Cabarrus Cobras in their two games, while the 8u LDA Bombers will go against the Harrisburg Kings and the Cabarrus Bandits.
NC #8 Area Stars - Orange will take on the Clayton RailRoaders and the Walkoff Warriors in their two games on Sunday in Fayetteville.

SC #8 Titans Baseball will play in the combined 9u/10u age division on Saturday in Concord and will face the 9u LKN Hurricanes and the 10u Outlaws in their two games. On Sunday, the Titans will face off against Concord Athletics - McElhinny and the Cabarrus Bandits in the 9u age group.
On Saturday in Fayetteville, NCABC Fungo - Piscorik, who is just on the outside of our top 20, will take on a tough Area Stars - Orange squad and NSA Legion, who is a new team this spring. On Sunday, Fungo - Piscorik will take on the Cleveland Wildcats and NSA Select. NC #15 East Coast Elite will also be in action on Sunday in Fayetteville. They'll go against the Carolina Raiders and NSA Legion in their two games.

On Sunday in Fayetteville, NC #15 Wilson Reds will go up against Area Stars - Orange and Triangle Sports Hawks Blue as they start their spring season.
One of the best 10u teams in the United States, SC #1 Team 24 Gamecocks - Ashley will compete in the 8-team 10u division at the Top Gun site in Charlotte this weekend. They'll take on the LKN Hurricanes and the Gastonia Raptors in their pool play games on Saturday. #20 OTK Saints will also be in this field and will take on the Hurricanes and the Carolina Reapers in pool play.

The 8-team Triangle Region 11u D1 division will feature a host of statewide top 20 teams including NC #4 Rawlings Prospects, NC #7 Dirtbags East, NC #10 NCDB Rivercats, and NC #14 Akadema Heat in what should be an outstanding early season event. None of those teams will face each other in pool play, which should make for an excellent Gold bracket on Sunday. In addition, in Fayetteville SC #6 Carolina Titans will take on Dirtbags Platinum and the NSA Prospects on Sunday.
In Charlotte, 14 teams, including two teams ranked in North Carolina (#17 LKN Hurricanes and #18 Carolina Spinners) and one ranked in South Carolina (#8 Team 24 Gamecocks - Bailey), will fight it out in the 11u age group. The Hurricanes are set to take on Aces - Hartsell and the Spinners in their pool play games. In addition to the Hurricanes, the Spinners will also face Aces - Hartsell in pool play. Team 24 is matched up against Elite Baseball EBC and Belmont Bandits - McCarn for their pool play games on Saturday.

#12 Vision Bandits headline the 10-team 12u field in Charlotte this weekend. They will face the LKN Hurricanes and Five Star DK Heat in their two pool play games on Saturday.
