This weekend NC Rogue played up in 11u and looked great! First game on Saturday they tied NCBA 11u 8-8. 2nd game they beat Distefanos Bear Claws 11u 9-6. Sunday they beat NCBA 11u 6-5! In the championship game they lost 9-7 to the Bearclaws 11u in what was a great game with multiple lead changes!!! NC Rogue look to be a top 10u team this fall with an overall record of 10-1-1 with the only loss to Distefanos bearclaws 11u!!!

My source stated that his son was playing for the Rockies. It may not be the travel team so if i am mistaken i apologize. Before the end of May the Top 5 of High Toms, Five Star( formerly Luckies Bronze), Rogue, Rockies and Summerfield Stars will be major players in the Rankings. So far I have been able to see NC Rogue, Luckies Gold and GBC play this spring. Rogue looked really good last weekend, but GBC seems to be well improved also. Luckies Gold struggled but this weekend should have more teams since the first actual USSSA tourney in Greensboro is this weekend. Five Star (Formerly Luckies Bronze) will be playing in Oxford this weekend.

From rumors looks like the Luckies Bronze 9u have switched over to Five Star! Will have something to say about the number 1 team in the Triad area. Rogue 9u also picked up a couple of good players from a few local teams Such as the High Toms and Grit. The Rockies picked up a player from Grit also. Haven’t heard anything about any other teams this off season but Greensboro will kick off next weekend!!!

I would say do rankings by region. Triad, Triangle, Charlotte, Mountain, Coast. and leave it at the top 10 in each region! This gives the entire state an idea of what the best teams in each region are. With this you could also do a top 10 in the entire state!

8u in the Greensboro area would have to be GRIT hands down. Spartans Mullins is close but the talent level GRIT has played is better. Davidson Crush is not bad eithier. Those 3 are pretty strong.

9u I would have to say HiToms, Rogue, GRIT and Luckies Bronze. All 4 of those are pretty much the most consistent in the Greensboro area.
