To start the fall season off there were 4 teams that attended. NC Rogue, Virginia Squires, DBA(Demaria Baseball Academy) and SML Sandlot 9u. NC Rogue and Virginia Squires started the day off with a win for NC Rogue 18-5. Second game Virginia Squires and Sandlot with the Squires coming out on top 11-4. Next game NC Rogue won 18-1 over DBA. Last game of the day DBA was victorious 23-6 over Sandlot. On Sunday for the 2-3 seed play in game DBA outlasted the Squires 8-4 and in the 1-4 seed play in game NC Rogue defeated Sandlot 15-6. In the Championship NC Rogue came out on top 13 – 5. NC Rogue comes out of the weekend undefeated outscoring the opposition 64 – 17. This team looked dominant from the get go. There was a no hitter in there on sat. And this team can hit the ball. Other teams from the Triad Area will get going in the next few weeks. NC Rogue will be a force this fall and I feel could make some noise and move higher in the rankings in the coming weeks.
