WCWAA went 2-o on Sunday, scoring a 3-2 win and a 9-3 win over the Carolina Reds.

NC #7 Carolina Blue went 2-0 in pool play with a 7-4 win over the SBA Americans, and a 10-0 win over the Carolina Combat. The SBA Americans scored an 8-5 win over On Deck - Pineville in their other pool play game. NC 9u #17 Union County Crush - Gadd went 2-0 on Saturday with a 20-0 win over Mission Vipers - Healy and a 13-2 win over Mission Vipers - Bray. In the Gold bracket play-in game, Mission Vipers - Reyer notched a 12-3 win over Mission Vipers - McIlroy. In the semifinals, Carolina Blue rolled to a 10-2 win over Mission Vipers - Reyer while the SBA Americans edged past Union County Crush - Walker 12-11. In the finals, Carolina Blue held on for a 12-11 win over the SBA Americans to take home the 10u title.

11u #1 SBA Futures impressed on Saturday, going 2-0 with a 23-5 win over #8 Carolina Havoc and a 10-2 win over the Mountain Region #5 Venom Stars. The Havoc fell 4-2 against the SBA Nationals in their other pool play game on Saturday. NC #5 Dirtbags Black went 2-o in pool play with an 8-0 win over Myers Park Rebels and a 3-1 win over the MARA Cobras. The Cobras scored a 14-6 win over the Myers Park Rebels to finish 1-1 in pool play. In the Gold bracket play-in games, the MARA Cobras topped the Rebels 9-1 and the SBA Futures blanked the Carolina Havoc 8-0. In the semifinals, the SBA Futures rode strong pitching and defense to a 4-0 win over the SBA Nationals, while Dirtbags Black rolled to an 11-5 win over the MARA Cobras. In the finals, Dirtbags Black made a big statement in the early spring season, scoring 3 in the bottom of the 5th inning to hold on for a 7-6 win over SBA Futures to finish 4-0 for the weekend.

The SBA Nationals went 2-0 on Saturday with a 9-8 win over the SBA Generals and a 4-3 win over NC #11 Carolina Astros. The Astros topped the Generals 6-3 in their other game on Saturday. On Sunday, the Astros scored a 3-2 win over the On Deck O's and a 9-1 win over the Pineville Blue Sox. In the one-game championship, the SBA Nationals edged the Generals 3-2. The Nationals also scored a 9-0 win over the Weddington Warriors and a 12-0 win over the Pineville Blue Sox on Sunday.

NC #1 Dirtbags MVP played up in the 14u age group this weekend in Charlotte. On Saturday, they went 1-1 with a 14-0 win over Team 24 Gamecocks - Miller (SC) and a 15-3 loss against East Rowan. On Sunday, they scored a 6-3 win over Athlete's Warehouse - Allman in the semifinals, but fell 4-3 against East Rowan in the finals.
