A number of highly ranked teams will hit the field this weekend across the USSSA sites in North Carolina. This includes the #1 team in North Carolina in the 9u, 10u, and 11u age groups (SBA Futures) all playing up this weekend. South Carolina #1 Team 24 Gamecocks -Â Ashley will also be in the 10u field, as will North Carolina #2 SBA Nationals, which should make for an exciting division to follow.

8u Coastal Region #1 Lugnuts Blue will be in action in Wilmington this weekend in the 8u age group. They are set to take on the Ogden Hurricanes and the NMB Braves (SC) on Saturday. Leland Lugnuts White will also take on the Hurricanes and Braves in their pool play games.
The Charlotte USSSA will feature a number of ranked teams, including #1 East Rowan, #5 Davidson Crush, as well as the SBA Futures, a team largely comprised of players from #9 Union County Crush - Bennett. East Rowan will take on the Crush and the Carolina Reds (SC) in pool play. The Crush will face the Carolina Reds in their other pool play game. The SBA Futures are scheduled to go against Team 24 Gamecocks (SC) and WCWAA in their two pool play games in Charlotte.
#5 Davidson Crush are also listed as playing in Greensboro this weekend and will take on the Bad Boyz and Luckies - Steel on Saturday.

9u Coastal Region #5 Coastal Cyclones, owners of a 16-3 record in USSSA play in the fall of 2018, are set to open up their spring against the Wilmington Whitecaps and the HM Wolfpack in pool play on Saturday in Wilmington.
#6 Triple Crown Lookouts will look to build on a successful fall 2018 campaign this weekend. They'll start their weekend off with games against the Cherryville Sluggers and the Charleston Crush. SC #1 Team 24 Gameocks - Clayton will also be in action in Charlotte this weekend and will take on Mission Vipers - Healy and Ultimate Performance Black in their two pool play games.
#1 SBA Futures will be playing up in the 10u age group in Charlotte this weekend and will take on 10u Team 24 Gamecocks - Wilson (SC) and 10u On Deck - Weddington in their two pool play games.

The NMB Braves (SC), Coastal Cyclones, and Wilmington Rays will face off in a double-round robin format event this weekend in Wilmington.
SC #1 Team 24 Gamecocks - Ashley (SC) will headline a loaded 10u field in Charlotte this weekend. In an excellent early season game, they'll face off against NC #4 Park Sharon Nationals - Pirro, who posted a 17-1 overall record in the fall 2018 season. Team 24 - Ashley and the Nationals will also have pool play games against On Deck - Pineville on Saturday. NC #2 SBA Nationals will also be in this excellent field in Charlotte and will go against NC #7 Carolina Blue and the Charleston Crush in pool play. Carolina Blue is set to take on the Crush in their other pool play game. Mountain Region #4 Athlete's Lab Crushers will be starting their spring season against some excellent competition, and will go against the Bulldogs and Copperheads - Sigler in pool play. Mountain Region #5 Venom Stars - Mike will also be in this 10u field and will take on the Bulldogs and Copperheads - Sigler as well in pool play.
NC #1 SBA Futures will play up in the 11u two-day event this weekend in Charlotte. They have pool play games scheduled against the 11u On Deck O's Orange and 11u MARA Cobras on Saturday.
In Greensboro, #8 Colorado Rockies Black will start off their spring 2019 campaign with games against the Carolina Strikers and the Kernersville Cyclones on Saturday.

In the two-day 11u event in Charlotte this weekend, NC #13 Athlete's Advantage Yard Goats will face off against the Carolina Reds (SC) and the SBA Nationals in their pool play games.
11u #1 SBA Futures will be playing up in the 12u age group this weekend in Charlotte. They are set to take on 12u Ultimate Performance Black and Team 24 Gamecocks - Lowry (SC) in their pool play games on Saturday. They will also be playing in the 12u age group in a one-day event on Sunday in Charlotte where they will face the 12u Weddington Warriors, and the 12u On Deck O's.
#11 GRIT will be in action at the Greensboro site this weekend and will go against GBC Prospects - Breedlove and the Durham Blues in pool play on Saturday.

SC #5 Carolina Bomb Squad will take part in the 10-team 12u field this weekend in Wilmington. They will take on the Wilmington Rays and NC #14 Rock Solid Red in their pool play games. Rock Solid Red will also take on Carolina Teal II in their other pool play game on Saturday.
12u #4 Dirtbags Legends will get there spring season underway this weekend in Charlotte. They will take on the SBA Senators and the Rawlings Stars NC Prospects 2025 in their two pool play games.
