We weren't able to get to a recap for the Top Gun games in the Charlotte region last week, but we took note this week. With 5 top 5 teams across different age groups in action, there were a handful of great games. Here we recap the Top Gun games at the Charlotte and Mocksville sites from this past weekend.

There were no undefeated teams in pool play this weekend in the 9u age group. The LBC Outlaws scored the #1 seed for Sunday after a 6-5 win over Kings Mountain Storm and a 7-3 loss against the Belmont Bandits. The LBC Lightning earned the #2 seed with a 10-4 win over Dry Pond Baseball and a 12-11 loss against Kings Mountain. In the semifinals on Sunday, the LBC Lightning rolled to a 17-5 win over Dry Pond and the Outlaws edged past the Belmont Bandits 9-8 to set up an all-LBC final. In the finals, it was the Lightning who came out on top of the Outlaws 13-3.

NC #3 Park Sharon Nationals earned the top seed for bracket play with a 9-6 win over SBA LKN Canes - Rinaman and an 8-0 win over NC #12 LBC Thunder. #5 Carolina Blue earned the #2 seed with a 10-4 win over Carolina Flight (KW) and a 12-5 win over the CCBA Bombers. In the Gold bracket semifinals on Sunday, Carolina Blue edged past the Flight 9-8 and Park Sharon scored an 11-3 win over SBA LKN Canes - Rinaman. In the finals, Park Sharon rolled out to an 11-4 lead through 4 innings and held on for an 11-7 win over Carolina Blue.

In the National division, 9u #3 LBC Vipers was playing up and went 2-0 on Saturday, scoring a 12-4 win over SBA - Datta and a 15-2 win over Legacy Baseball (SC) to earn the #1 seed for Sunday. Carolina Flight (EW) scored the #2 seed with an 18-0 win over Cramerton Crusaders and a 13-8 win over the Carolina Cobras. The Cobras topped the Crusaders 20-1 in their other pool play game and earned the #3 seed in the Gold bracket. In the semifinals on Sunday, the Cobras rolled to a 19-3 win over the Carolina Flight (EW) and the Vipers notched an 8-1 win over LBC Spartans. In the finals, the Vipers finished off a 4-0 weekend with a 7-4 win over the Carolina Cobras.

NC #3 Dirtbags Black headlined the 11u field this weekend in Charlotte, and they did not disappoint, going 2-0 in pool play with an 8-0 win over Aces - Hartsell and a 15-5 win over the LBC Hammerheads, which earned them #1 seed for Sunday. #13 Carolina Havoc went 1-1 on Saturday with a 5-4 win over SBA Canes LKN and a 14-6 loss against the Carolina Cannons, but still scored the 4th and final spot in the Gold bracket. The Cannons topped SBA Canes LKN 11-3 in their other pool play game and earned the #3 seed for Sunday. Legacy Baseball (SC) went 2-0 on Saturday, notching a 15-3 win over Aces - Hartsell and a 15-4 win over the Hammerheads and scored the #2 seed for bracket play. In the semifinals, Dirtbags Black blanked the Havoc 5-0 and the Cannons topped Legacy Baseball 10-7. In the finals, Dirtbags Black moved to 8-0 this spring with a 6-1 win over the Carolina Cannons.
National
Battalion (SC) earned the top seed for Sunday with a 7-2 win over the Davidson Force and a 27-2 win over the Regulators. Team 24 Gamecocks - Comer (SC) earned the #2 seed with a 14-6 win over the OTK Saints and a 15-0 win over the Regulators. In the #4/5 play-in game on Sunday, the OTK Saints rolled to a 14-5 win over Carolina Octane. In the semifinals, Team 24 scored a 20-5 win over Team Carolina and Battalion blasted their way to a 14-3 win over the OTK Saints. In the finals, Team 24 finished off a 4-0 weekend with an 18-11 win over Battalion.

NC #12 LBC Attack earnde the #1 seed in the Gold bracket after going 2-0 on Saturday with a 14-6 win over the Carolina Renegades and a 16-7 win over 11u #5 Canes Baseball NC - Slaydon, who was playing up this weekend. Canes - Slaydon fell 13-7 against #14 Vision Bandits in their other pool play game and were relegated to the Silver bracket for Sunday. The Vision Bandits topped SBA West - Gooders 15-7 in their other pool play game and scored the #2 seed for Sunday. In the Gold bracket semifinals on Sunday, the Vision Bandits topped the Park Sharon Nationals 11-3 and the LBC Attack topped CBA Copperheads - Herkey 11-3 to set up showdown of top 15 teams in the finals. In this one, it was the LBC Attack who came out on top, scoring a 13-7 win over the Vision Bandits.

The Triple Crown Lookouts earned the top seed in the Gold bracket with a 5-1 win over CBA Copperheads - Rowland and a 5-4 win over Vision Bandits - Williams on Saturday. Legacy Baseball (SC) scored the #2 seed for Sunday with an 8-4 win over Carolina Heat NC and a 21-3 win over Stewards of the Game Storm in pool play. In the #4/5 play-in game on Sunday, CBA Copperheads - Rowland topped Vision Bandits - Williams 10-8. In the #3/6 play-in game, the Lake Wylie Warriors edged Copperheads - Caldwell 4-2. In the semifinals, the Lookouts rolled to an 11-3 win over Copperheads - Rowland and Legacy Baseball notched a 13-3 win over the Lake Wylie Warriors. In the finals, the Lookouts finished off an undefeated weekend with a 10-1 win over Legacy Baseball.

Team 24 Gamecocks - Stiles (SC) went 2-0 with a 12-2 win ove the LBC Heat and a 10-0 win over the Matthews Missles. The Heat topped the Missles 10-2 in their other game on Sunday.
Two-day
SBA LKN - Chapter/Goodwin scored the #1 seed with a 17-2 win over Hutters and a 9-3 win over the Carolina Sundevils on Saturday. SBA LKN Chapter/Roberts earned the #2 seed with a 19-2 win over the Gold Hill Miners and a 12-9 win over the South Rowan Hammerheads. The Hammerheads scored the #4 seed with a 7-4 win over the Miners in their other pool play game. In the #4/5 play-in game on Sunday, the Hammerheads blanked the Miners 10-0. In the #3/6 play-in game, the Sundevils edged past Hutters 6-5. In the semifinals, the Hammerheads took out SBA LKN - Chapter/Goodwin 11-5 and SBA LKN Chapter/Robers blasted the Sundevils 15-0. In the finals, South Rowan Hammerheads finished off a 3-0 Sunday with a 13-9 win over SBA LKN Chapter/Roberts.

NC #4 HPT HiToms went 4-0 this weekend to win this 5-team round-robin event. On Saturday, they scored a 10-2 win over the Carolina Lynx and a 12-0 win over Kernersville 5 Star. They followed that up with a 19-0 win over the Carolina Sundevils and a 15-2 win over Reidsville Luckies Gold on Sunday. Kernersville 5 Star finished 3-1 for the weekend with a 14-2 win over the Sundevils, a 14-8 win over Reidsville Luckies Gold, and a 5-4 win over the Lynx in addition to their loss against the HiToms.

Carolina Impact rolled through pool play, going 2-0 with a 10-0 win over P413 and a 28-1 win over the Carolina Sundevils. On Sunday in the semifinals, the Impact notched a 20-0 win over the Sundevils and P413 scored a 13-3 win over the Outlaws. In the finals, the Impact finished off a 4-0 weekend with a 10-0 win over P413.

Mountain Region #3 Athlete's Lab 2025/2026 went 4-0 this weekend in this 5-team single round-robin event. On Saturday, they notched a 14-0 win over the China Grove Raiders and a 10-8 win over NC #17 LKN Hurricanes. On Sunday, Athlete's Lab scored a 12-3 win over the Asheville Mudawgz and a 9-2 win over Elite Baseball. The Hurricanes finished 3-1 for the weekend with a 20-5 win over the Muddawgz, a 6-5 win over Elite Baseball, and a 5-4 win over the China Grove Raiders, in addition to their loss against Athlete's Lab.

Spartans - Hutchens went 2-0 on Saturday with a 12-7 win over NC #17 Rockies - Mayhew, and a 14-10 win over the Hickory Hurricanes. This earned the Spartans the top seed for bracket play. The Rockies scored an 9-7 win over the Rawlings Stars NC Prospects in their other pool play game on Saturday. In the semifinals on Sunday, Rockies - Mayhew topped Rawlings Stars NC Prospects 9-4 and the Spartans rolled to a 10-1 win over the Hurricanes. In the finals, the Spartans again topped the Rockies, this time by the score of 15-7, to finish 4-0 for the weekend.
