It was an exciting weekend of USSSA baseball as a couple of #1’s were in action (9u Park Sharon Nationals and 11u SBA Canes – Ross). Both #1’s lived up to their ranking as were several other highly ranked teams. Check out the recap of this past weekend’s USSSA games.
Despite the rain-shortened weekend upcoming, there are still some great games upcoming. With a match up of top 10 teams in the 11u division in Charlotte, a match up of top 20 teams in the 9u division in Charlotte, and several other top 10 teams in action, this should be a great weekend of USSSA baseball. There were a few USSSA sites in action this weekend. Mission Vipers and SBA Canes were back in action in the Charlotte site and put on some impressive performances. Here’s a brief recap of the USSSA action this past weekend.
USSSA did not post the results of their umpire training/scrimmage games this past weekend. As such, we have done our best to try and summarize the results as best we could. 60 teams will be in play this weekend for USSSA as their spring tournament schedule starts to really ramp up this weekend. Some of the best teams in the state, particularly from the Charlotte area will be in action this weekend. For a February tournament of “scrimmages”, there are some absolutely loaded fields. It was an incredible weekend of games at the USSSA Beast of the East, which is routinely one of the best tournaments in the state. Many of the best teams in all of North Carolina were in play, and went up against some of the best teams from neighboring states.
