NC GameOn had a big slate of games scheduled this weekend across the state of North Carolina. 14 teams ranked in the statewide rankings were in action, as well as several regionally ranked teams. Several ranked teams tested themselves playing up an age group with some impressive performances. Here we recap the exciting weekend of baseball at the NC GameOn sites.

NC #4 Spartans - Mullins went 2-0 in pool play on Saturday with a 16-1 win over the Rockies and a 5-2 win over #12 DC Bombers. The Bombers edged past Wilkes County Elite 14-13 in their other pool play. The Rockies scored a 7-4 win over Wilkes County in their other pool play game on Saturday. In the semifinals on Sunday, the Bombers scored a 1-run 6-5 win over the Rockies and Spartans - Mullins blanked Wilkes County 13-0. In the finals, Spartans - Mullins finished off a 4-0 weekend with a 15-0 win over the DC Bombers.

NC #11 Carolina Rockies earned the top seed for bracket play with a 10-0 win over Copperheads - Beekley and an 8-0 win over the Pfafftown Raiders. #18 NC Rogue Baseball also went 2-0 in pool play and received the #2 seed for Sunday after an 11-3 win over the Pfafftown Raiders and a 5-4 win over Spartans - Allen. In the #4/5 play-in game on Sunday, the Pfafftown Raiders rolled to a 10-4 win over Copperheads - Beekley. In the #3/6 play-in game, Spartans - Allen notched a 9-1 win over the Venom Stars. In the semifinals, Rogue edged Spartans - Allen 4-3 and the Rockies scored a 9-7 win over the Pfafftown Raiders. In the finals, Rogue scored a 7-3 win over the Rockies to finish off an undefeated weekend.

The 10u field featured several ranked teams including #7 Carolina Rockies Black, #8 Carolina Red Sox - Jones, and #18 Union County Crush - Walker. The Red Sox scored the top seed for Sunday with a 6-2 win over Crush - Walker and a 12-9 win over the Rockies in pool play. Crush - Walker topped the Davidson Crush 5-4 in their other pool play game and earned the #2 seed for bracket play. The Rockies topped the Kernersville Cyclones 11-5 in their other pool play game and received the #4 seed for Sunday. In the #4/5 play-in game, Carolina Rockies Black edged past the Davidson Crush 5-4. In the semifinals, Crush - Walker notched a 4-3 win over the Kernersville Cyclones and Red Sox - Jones got past Rockies Black 9-7. In the finals, Union County Crush - Walker scored a walk-off 8-7 win over Red Sox - Jones to take home the 10u title in Clemmons.

NC #12 Athlete's Advantage Yard Goats went 1-1 in pool play, falling 11-7 against the Carolina Patriots before scoring a 12-4 win over the Summerfield Stars. The Carolina Patriots topped Big Cat Baseball 11-6 in their other pool play game and earned the #2 seed for bracket play. #20 Carolina Spinners also went 1-1 in pool play, scoring an 8-6 win over the Randolph Regulators and an 11-4 loss against Equip. Equip scored an 11-6 win over L-town Lightning in their other pool play and earned the top seed for Sunday. In the #4/5 seed Gold bracket play-in game, Athlete's Advantage Yard Goats edged past the DSB Carolina Bullfrogs 4-3. In the semifinals, the Carolina Patriots defeated the Summerfield Stars 10-9 and the Yard Goats notched a 9-6 win over Equip. In the finals, the Yard Goats avenged their pool play loss to the Carolina Patriots, scoring a 7-4 win over in the finals.

The Triad Thunder earned the top seed for Sunday with a 15-0 win over Rockies - Chandler and a 16-3 win over Rockies - Holley in pool play. SBA Canes - Baldwin also went 2-0 in pool play, rolling to a 19-4 win over Rockies - Chandler and a 7-3 win over China Grove. China Grove defeated Rockies - Holley 11-8 in their other pool play game, which was good enough to earn the #2 seed for Sunday. In the #4/5 play-in game, Rockies - Holley defeated Rockies - Chandler 14-4. In the semifinals, China Grove notched a 5-4 win over SBA Canes - Baldwin and the Triad Thunder rolled to a 13-3 win over Rockies - Holley. In the finals, the Triad Thunder finished off an undefeated weekend with a 10-2 win over China Grove.

The HYAA Hawks went 2-0 on Saturday with a 17-2 win over the Granville Rays and a 15-4 win over the TopHand Reds and earned the top seed for Sunday. NCABC Fungo Red scored the #2 seed after a 14-3 win over the North Wake Grays and a 16-7 win over the Holly Springs Atoms. In the #4/5 seed play-in game, the North Wake Grays scored a 6-2 win over the Virginia Squires. In the semifinals, Fungo - Piscorik blanked Fungo Red 3-0 and the HYAA Hawks blanked the North Wake Grays 10-0. In the finals, the HYAA Hawks notched their second shutout of the day with an 8-0 win over Fungo - Piscorik.

NC 9u #5 Canes Baseball NC - Harris played up in the 10u age group this weekend in Wake Forest. They went 2-0 on Saturday with a 20-5 win over the Zebulon Rampage and a 16-8 win over the Virginia Squires, and earned the #1 seed for Sunday. The Carolina Flash earned the #2 seed for bracket play with a 19-7 win over the Rampage and a 10-6 win over the Carolina Tide. In the #3/6 play-in game on Sunday, the Carolina Tide knocked out a 9-4 win over the Zebulon Rampage. In the #4/5 play-in game, the Virginia Squires toped the JoCo Sox 16-6. In the semifinals, the Carolina Flash rolled to a 10-2 win over the Tide and Canes - Harris edged past the Squires 13-12. In the finals, the Flash were able to come out on top, scoring a 12-6 win over Canes - Harris to finish the weekend 4-0.

The NCDB Rivercats-2 scored the #2 seed for Sunday with a 13-3 win over the Carolina Thunder and a 10-6 win over Fungo Elite on Saturday. In the #4/5 play-in game, Fungo Elite edged past the Riptide 8-7. In the semifinals, NCDB-2 rolled to a 16-3 win over the Thunder and the Outlaws notched an 11-6 win over Fungo Elite. In the finals, the Outlaws finished off a 4-0 weekend with a 6-3 win over NCDB-2.

The Walk Off Warriors went 0-2 on Saturday with an 11-2 loss against Carolina Armor Red and a 9-5 loss against the Carolina Titans, and finished with the #5 seed for Sunday. In the #4/5 play-in game, the Walk Off Warriors notched a 5-2 win over the Carolina Titans. In the semifinals, Squires Baseball rolled to a 9-3 win over Carolina Armor Red and the Walk Off Warriors blasted their way to a 13-2 win over NCABC Fungo Red. In the finals, the Walk Off Warriors completed the comeback from an 0-2 Saturday with a 6-3 win over Squires Baseball.

The Shockwave edged Rock Solid Blue 9-8 in their other pool play game to finish with the top spot in Pool A. In Pool B, 12u #20 OC Crushers went 0-2 on Saturday, falling 4-3 against Dirtbags Camo and 9-4 against the Riptide. Dirtbags Camo blanked the Riptide 14-0 in their other pool play game to finish with the #1 seed in Pool B. On Sunday, Rock Solid Blue topped the OC Crushers 6-2 and the Rawlings Prospects edged the Riptide 8-7 to reach the semifinals. In the semifinals, Dirtbags Camo rolled to an 11-1 win over Rock Solid Blue and the Rawlings Prospects blasted their way to a 12-2 win over the Shockwave. In the finals, Dirtbags Camo finished off an undefeated weekend with an 11-6 win over the Rawlings Prospects.

In the semifinals, the North Wake Avalanche scored a 4-2 win over Zone Select, and the Squires rolled to a 9-1 win over the Crusaders.
