There were numerous ranked teams in action across the NC GameOn sites this weekend, including 8u #1 East Rowan who had a showdown matchup with 8u #3 Davidson Crush on Sunday. In total, 9 teams ranked in our statewide top 20 and two other regionally ranked teams were in the fields this weekend. Here we provide some of the highlights from a great weekend of baseball.

NC #1 East Rowan was in action in Clemmons this past weekend and scored a 14-0 win over #9 DC Bombers and a 15-0 win over Spartans - Davidson in their pool play games. The Bombers topped Spartans - Davidson 17-1 in their other pool play game on Saturday. #3 Davidson Crush also went 2-0 in pool play with an 11-0 win over the Rockies and a 15-0 win over the Pfafftown Raiders 2029. In the quarterfinal games on Sunday, the Rockies topped Five Star Carolina 15-7, the DC Bombers rolled to a 16-1 win over the Pfafftown Raiders, and East Rowan blanked Spartans - Davidson 15-0. In the semifinals, East Rowan rolled to a 4th straight shutout win with an 11-0 win over the DC Bombers, while the Davidson Crush edged the Rockies 15-14 to reach the finals. In the finals, East Rowan took a 10-5 lead into the bottom of the 6th inning, however the Crush battled back, scoring 6 in the inning to take a walk off 11-10 win over East Rowan.

The Carolina Rockies went 2-0 in pool play, scoring a 15-0 win over Spartans - Allen and an 11-0 win over P413. The Summerfield Stars went 1-1 on Saturday, falling 9-8 against Spartans - Allen before rolling to a 16-0 win over P413. In the semifinals on Sunday, the Stars blasted their way to a 15-3 win over Spartans - Allen and the Rockies rolled to a 13-3 win over P413. In the finals, the Stars took home a 15-6 win over the Rockies to finish off a 3-1 weekend.

NC #7 Carolina Rockies Black went 1-1 in their first action of the spring on Saturday, falling 5-3 against Mountain Region #5 Venom Stars and topping #19 Pfafftown Raiders 6-3. The Venom Stars scored a 15-8 win over the Pilot Mountain Dirtbags and the Raiders fell 13-4 against Hutters in their other pool play games. Hutters went 2-0 in pool play with a 7-1 win over the Pilot Mountain Dirtbags in their other game on Saturday. In the play-in game on Sunday, the Raiders scored an 8-0 win over the Dirtbags to reach the semifinals. In the semifinals, the Raiders topped Hutters 7-4 and Carolina Rockies Black rolled to a 23-2 win over the Venom Stars. In the finals, Carolina Rockies Black took home their first title of the spring with a 9-8 win over the Pfafftown Raiders.

Mountain Region #2 DC Vipers went 2-0 on Saturday with a 19-3 win over Spartans - Speaks and a 10-0 win over Spartans - Triplett. Luckies Platinum also went 2-0 with a 12-8 win over Spartans - Speaks and an 8-7 win over Rockies White. In the play-in game on Sunday, Spartans - Triplett topped Spartans - Speaks 15-2. In the semifinals, Luckies Platinum scored an 11-5 win over Rockies White and the DC Vipers notched a 15-0 win over Spartans - Triplett. In the finals, Luckies Platinum edged past the DC Vipers 10-9 to take home the 11u title.

NC #18 Carolina Rockies - Mayhew went 2-0 in pool play with a 14-8 win over the Stokes Sox and an 8-5 win over China Grove. The Sox topped China Grove 9-6 in their other pool play game. NCBA also went 2-0 in pool play, scoring a 17-9 win over Spartans - Hutchens and an 11-7 win over the Statesville Sluggers. In the play-in game on Sunday, China Grove rolled to a 16-9 win over the Statesville Sluggers. In the semifinals, the Stokes Sox blanked NCBA 6-0 and Rockies - Mayhew edged past China Grove 6-5. In the finals, Rockies - Mayhew finished off an undefeated weekend with a 13-2 win over the Stokes Sox.

NC #11 NCDB Rivercats went 2-0 in pool play with an 18-3 win over Extreme Baseball and a 7-3 win over #15 Youngsville Phantoms. The Phantoms topped Squires - Satterfield (VA) 11-6 in their other pool play game. In the semifinals on Sunday, the Phantoms rolled to a 15-5 win over Extreme Baseball and the Rivercats topped the Squires 10-2 to reach the finals. In the finals, the Phantoms avenged their pool play loss with an 8-4 win over the Rivercats.

NC #10 NCDB Rivercats went 1-1 on Saturday, scoring an 11-1 win over the Carolina Bandits before falling 10-6 against the HYAA Hawks. The Hawks fell 12-2 against the Riptide in their other pool play game. The Riptide finished 2-0 on Saturday with a 9-4 win over the Bandits in addition to their win over the Hawks. In the semifinals on Sunday, NCDB avenged their loss from Saturday with a 7-3 win over the HYAA Hawks, while the Riptide topped the Bandits 8-1. In the finals, the Rivercats finished off a 3-1 weekend with an 8-5 win over the Riptide.

The Carolina Flash went 2-0 on Saturday with a 15-7 loss against Extreme Baseball and a 16-5 win over NCABC Fungo. Diamond Life Athletics also went 2-0 on Saturday with a 12-0 win over the HSA Road Runners and an 11-2 win over Zone Select. In the play-in games on Sunday, Extreme Baseball edged Zone Select 5-4 and the HSA Road Runners blanked NCABC Fungo 10-0. In the semifinals, Extreme Baseball topped Diamond Life 11-7 and the Flash scored a 12-2 win over the HSA Road Runners. In the finals, the Flash rolled to a 12-2 win over Extreme Baseball to finish the weekend undefeated.

Long Mountain Diamond Jaxx (VA) went 2-0 on Saturday with a 13-12 win over the Fuquay Titans and a 12-8 win over NCABC Fungo Red. Fungo Red topped the Rock City Aftershock 7-5 in their other pool play game. In the semifinals, Fungo Red scored a 6-1 win over Rock City and the Diamond Jaxx topped the Fuquay Titans 4-1. In the finals, the Diamond Jaxx rolled to a 17-6 win over Fungo Red to finish the weekend 4-0.

The Prospects topped the WF Renegades 16-0 in their other pool play game on Saturday. In the semifinals on Sunday, the Prospects blanked AF Chargers Baseball 8-0 and the HYAA Hawks rolled to a 22-0 win over the WF Renegades. In the finals, Rawlings Prospects 2025 avenged their pool play loss with a 7-3 win over the HYAA Hawks.
