I think you need to consider NC Rogue for your top 20 rankings. They have been very competitive so far this fall. They are 12-5-1 and have beaten top 15 team Luckies Bronze and tied top 5 team Hpt High Toms earlier this season. The Rankings would serve you better if you would rank them according to region in the state. I would rank Greensboro Triad Area this way.

    1. High Toms
    2. Luckies Brone
    3. Rockies
    4. NC Rogue
    5. GRIT

These are the 5 best teams from that area and the seperation between the bottom 3 is pretty close. The High Toms are a legit top 5 team in the state. The Luckies Bronze are pretty good. NC Rogue, Rockies and GRIT all 3 have not been as consistent as the top 2 but they will have something to say about these ranking before the Fall is over.

Thanks for this suggestion. We’re definitely thinking of adding regional and/or level of competition rankings. These seem like they would be helpful for most people. We’re trying to figure out the best way to present these types of rankings. Probably going to be something we add this winter in the off-season.

Thank you for all your hard work and effort in maintaining this site and rankings. It is appreciated! Thoughts for the off season. I would love to see a blog post on the different travel programs in the area and your pros/cons for each. USSSA, Top Gun, NC Game on Sports and any others out there. Also, another post idea, would be to spotlight the top 5 teams outside of the state, such as line drive – GA. For instance. Lastly, a post on the big tournament dates in the spring would be helpful as well to help to help facilitate the top 20 meeting up more often. Enjoy the offseason. David (Fungo9U)
