A look inside Perfect Game’s 13u April Rankings Update

A lot has changed since the fall in the 13u baseball scene in North Carolina and beyond, as those in the age group would probably attest. The 13u age group more than any other age groups is where the rankings get very difficult, but for a very different reason – national teams and “guest players.” Here we provide some thoughts on Perfect Game’s 13u national rankings.

A look inside Perfect Game’s 12u April Rankings Update

Perfect Game recently updated their national youth travel team rankings, including the 12u age group. A total of 4 teams from North Carolina made the top 75 teams in the nation according to Perfect Game. The North Carolina group was led by Canes Baseball NC – Pirro, who came in at #3. In addition to these teams, one team from both Virginia and South Carolina were listed in these national rankings. 

A look inside Perfect Game’s 11u April Rankings Update

Perfect Game recently updated their national youth travel team rankings, including the 11u age group. A total of 7 teams from North Carolina made the top 75 teams, making this the largest number of NC teams in any of Perfect Game’s rankings. Leading the way was the SBA Futures at #5, followed closely by Dirtbags Black at #11. With our top 6 teams in North Carolina making an appearance in the top 75, this appears to be one of the most overall competitive age groups in the state. 

A look inside Perfect Game’s 10u April Rankings Update

Perfect Game recently updated their national youth travel team rankings, including the 10u age group. 5 teams from North Carolina were represented, including the Carolina Cardinals at #5, the SBA Futures at #7, Mission Baseball – Smith at #10, the SBA Nationals at #18, and SBA Rowan at #20. These are some lofty rankings and it will be interesting to watch these teams and rankings this spring and summer as more games are played in this age group.

Weekend Preview 4/10-4/11/21

There will be two big events ongoing in North Carolina, and both will take place in the Charlotte area. The Perfect Game Coastal Super Regional NIT and the USSSA Queen City Select Super NIT will have teams from all over flocking Charlotte this weekend. The schedules are out, and some last-minute shuffling has made for some intriguing potential matchups this weekend. Here we preview both events and give a rundown of where the top teams will be playing this upcoming weekend.
