USSSA Recap 4/28-4/29/18

It was a lighter weekend this past weekend for USSSA. Nevertheless, a handful of top 10 and top 20 were in action across the state. 9u #4 SBA Canes – Pitts and #7 Smash Baseball both put up impressive performances in Charlotte and Greensboro, respectively. Rankings Rationale 5/3/2018

This past weekend saw some big upsets as well as some strong performances across multiple age groups. We’ve focused this week’s rationale on the major movers. Please refer back to the previous rationale posts here and here for more details about why some of the teams who haven’t moved much are ranked where they are. Overall, we had #1’s go down in the 10u and 13u age groups, but elected not to move them because of their overall impressive seasons thus far. Several new teams hit the tops 20s this week, so read on to find out why we ranked teams the way we did. 

Triple Crown Border Wars Preview May 2018

It’s a huge weekend in Rocky Mount this weekend as over 40 teams from North Carolina look to test themselves against some of the best teams from all around the Mid Atlantic including teams from North Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, South Carolina, and Virginia. Multiple NC #1’s including 8u #1 Carolina Threshers, 12u #1 Legends Baseball, and 13u #1 Canes Baseball NC – Gallaher will be in action this weekend.

Top Gun Recap 4/28-4/29/18

There were dozens of ranked teams in play at the Top Gun sites this weekend. 13u #1 Canes Baseball NC – Gallaher and #5 NCDB Rivercats split two games each taking one while playing against one another in the 14u age group in Wake County. Check out the recap for all the details.
